Our commitment to accessibility
Many estimates indicate that some 20% — and even more — of internet users in Israel and worldwide are people with disabilities, such as full blindness, low vision, colour blindness, hearing impairment, motor difficulties, or visual and cognitive processing impairments. We therefore attach great importance to making this site as accessible as possible. An accessible site is one that has been adapted to make it easier to use for people with disabilities, so that their browsing experience is as pleasant and as easy as possible. This site has been made accessible in accordance with Section 35 of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773–2013, with the Israeli standard for web content accessibility IS 5568, and with the WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) — a standard adopted in many countries.
What we have done to make the site accessible
We, the site owners, together with Goffman Creative Ltd., which built the site, have taken — and will continue to take — a range of steps to make the site accessible. Below are examples of the steps we have taken to make the site as accessible as possible:
- Adapting the site to the following common browsers: Internet Explorer, Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari.
- Making the site responsive on mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.
- Adapting the site to different operating systems: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10, iOS and Android.
- Adapting the site to a range of screen resolutions.
- Delivering the site’s content in valid, error-free HTML5.
- Building in accessibility features according to the W3C ARIA guidelines.
- Adding rich snippets supported by search engines, so the site’s semantics are understood more accurately.
- Improving the site’s visual template so that content stands out and navigation is easier.
- Improving navigation through simple, easy-to-understand menus.
- Making the site usable with both a mouse and a keyboard.
- Avoiding pop-up and flashing elements in the site’s design.
- Links on the site carry descriptive anchor text explaining where they lead.
- Adding ALT text to every meaningful image on the site.
- Content pages are organised for easy reading and comprehension, with a clear division into headings and sub-headings and an internal division into paragraphs.
- Embedding an accessibility toolbar on the site.

Contacting us
Despite our efforts to make the site accessible to people with disabilities and to give them an easy, enjoyable browsing experience, some components may not yet be accessible — either because the work has not been completed, or because no suitable technology has been found. We are doing our utmost to keep improving the site’s accessibility. If you come across a component that is not accessible, or if you have suggestions for improving accessibility, we would be glad to hear from you through the contact form on the site’s Contact page.
